Environmental Friendly Wall Art

Blog posts Environmental Friendly Wall Art

We at The Canvas Art Factory understand that our customers expect a high level of quality from our artworks, but we also understand that we as a company bear a responsibility to look towards more environmentally friendly practices.

Here’s what we’re doing to minimize our environmental impact.

Environmentally Friendly Inks

Thanks to our state-of-the-art print technology, all our art is printed with water-based, environmentally friendly & non-toxic latex inks. That means that not only are our colours rich and vibrant, but our art is also completely odour-free and safe for hanging in sensitive indoor environments, like kid’s rooms! It also means there’s no harmful byproducts, solvent or fumes used in or created by our manufacturing process!

Made To Order – Minimizing Wastage

When you order on our website, our products are made-to-order just for you, which means that we’re not manufacturing excess stock that could end up in landfill, and you’re getting a product you love, that has been made to your specific requirements at the highest quality. Win-win!

Recycling

Our Woolloongabba factory has been working for several years on incorporating recycling into our factory practices. This means not only minimizing our waste output through reuse of waste products like offcuts but incorporating recycled materials into our manufacturing process without compromising our products’ high quality and durability.

Reducing Our Footprint

All our art is made in Australia, which means that we minimise the environmental impact of getting your artwork to you – no huge carbon footprint from air or sea shipping like overseas imports!

We’ve also worked hard to develop long-lasting and durable products. Our artworks built with longevity in mind; they are fade-resistant, water-resistant, and scratch-resistant, with a lifespan in ideal conditions of up to 80 years! This means artwork that can look great on your walls for years to come, not something that will end up in a landfill after a season.

We continue to investigate what we can do to create environmentally friendly and sustainable products.
