The sublime landscapes of Asia, from the jaw-dropping coastlines to snowy mountains, attracts thrill-seekers and holidaymakers alike. With so much to see in Asia, there’s the question of where to start and what exactly to hang up on your walls. Here’s a list of picturesque spots across Asia that will bring beauty to your home or office space for years to come.

Mount Fuji, Japan

There’s so much that can attract someone to visit Japan, but they would probably head straight to Tokyo. We recommend you make a stop off at Mount Fuji for beautiful natural views. The mountain has inspired artists past and present, and one of the most famous artworks to come out of Japan is an expression of Mount Fuji. The artwork is by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), a painter and printmaker of the Edo period. The Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji series is his most famous, and out of the series The Great Wave off Kanagawa is known around the world.

Phuket, Thailand

Phuket is Thailand’s biggest island and boasts some of the best beaches in the country. Typical Phuket beaches, like Kata, Hat Karon, and Kamala, feature soft sands and turquoise waters, making them some of the most beautiful beaches around the world.

Hoi An, Vietnam

One of the lesser-known gems of Vietnam is Hoi An. Typically, tourists will land in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and stay there, but they’re missing out on seeing one of the oldest trading ports in Asia. The architecture of Hoi An features elements of French colonialism and Chinese influence, seen in the shutters and tiled roofs. This unique mixture is one reason Hoi An stands as one of the more exceptionally beautiful cities in the region.

Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Kingdom of Bhutan

High up in the mountains, surrounded by the Himalayans, you will find the small king of Bhutan. The nation boasts beautiful sites of green valleys, steep mountains, swift rivers. It has views of Tibet and parts of India, which surround it. Tiger’s Nest Monastery sits in the Paro Valley. This site high in the mountains may be unattainable to most tourists if they don’t plan ahead. The country’s adamant effort to protect biodiversity and historical heritage forbids foreigners from travelling freely throughout in this part of Asia. It’s best to organise a tour.

Jaipur, India

Lesser known to New Delhi and Mumbai, Jaipur is sure to grab your attention thanks to the pink coloured stone used to build the structures around the city. One of the more breathtaking buildings is the Palace of the Winds, with its unique architecture and amazing pink colour. The palace is as beautiful as the Golden Palace in Amritsar, Punjab. Constructed in 1699, Jal Mahal palace is a tourist attraction, situated in and surrounded by a great lake.
